Rockfall- A large amount of rock falling freely of a high cliff face. Sliding along a vertical cliff, going down the slope by bouncing or flying.

Who is to blame for the oil spill?

I feel that there are many parties or certain people that should be blamed for the oil spill. There are so many different aspects that go into the oil spill that I don’t feel one person should have the responsibility of such a horrible event on their shoulders. I think that the company that supposedly tested all the back up equipment in case of the cement failure should be at some fault. When the workers or whoever applied the back up it didn’t work and if they had know that they wouldn’t have used it. Also the workers who were drilling and putting the cement in should be blamed because the cement wasn’t fully sealed off which is why the oil was able to seek through and get in the water. They were careless and thats who I think should be the most responsible for what went on. They also should be blamed for taking the lives of 4 men that were working and killed in the explosion.

Fossil Fuel-Coal

 Coal id my fossil fuel that I chose. It is composed mostly of carbon but also contain sulfur, hydrogen, oxygen and nitrogen. We find coal from the ground due to mining and is found in shaft mining or open pits. Over long periods of time sediments and other mineral matter combine and is being compacted by a great amount of pressure. It gets deeper in the ground and with heat it gradually changes to coal.

3 realistic and 3 non-realistic facts about the movie

Real-
1) When the lava was coming down the hill it immediately melted the house, which would happen due to the intensity of the heat.
2) The volcano when it first erupted it wasn't the big eruption. Which is accurate because usually the big moment happens a few hours after the first one.
3) The ash that covered the town. It was very thick and looked like gray dusty snow.

Non-realistic(fake)-
1) When they were in the car and had to go across lava. The lava had just been laid no way would the car have been able to fully make it across without sinking.
2) When they were sailing in the boat and the water had turned to acid and was melting the metal boat. It is possible for the acid to eat the metal the water just wouldn't have become that strong in such a short amount of time.
3) I think with everything they were testing that something would have popped up saying that this volcano was not safe and was going to exploded. They had installed signal machines in the volcano's rock to receive any activity and they would have gotten something sooner, then they actually did.

Fossils

I think this fossil is a Mold, because it is a deep in print. And usually when you mind a mold there is a hallow. By the looks of it there was a hallow before it was dug up.

I think this fossil is a Carbonaceous film. The reason is is because the wings are still there or left a carbon in print. And the impression is very good, you can see the stripe of the bee.

Layers

-The youngest is 3 because it is an intrusion.The other layers had to have been there first to be formed that way.
-The next one is 1 because it is on top of the intrusion that didn't fully come through.
-6 is the next one because it came before 1 which makes it older, and it shows that it laid on top of 2.
-2 is the 3 oldest because if it was an intrusion it would have been formed by the other layers, but the other layers weren't there first.
-5 is the fifth due to the fault making it go down ward.
-4 is the oldest because 5 came down on top of it but then it started to move on up. It used to be way down beneath the rest.
